The 2025 MEDSAM Annual General Meeting brought together medical听students from all departments for a successful transition of听leadership, engagement on student welfare, and the celebration of听outstanding achievements. The event was marked by vibrant听participation, including representatives from the Research Club, SSK,听NRHS, and a MEDSAM alumnus.
The meeting featured key reports from outgoing officials, with the EOC听Chair, Dr. Dennis Omondi, delivering the election report and听officiating the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected executive.
The incoming Chairperson, Erick Omondi, gave his inaugural address,听pledging to build on the foundation laid by his predecessors.
A highlight of the AGM was the launch of the Medschool Hall of Fame,听an initiative recognizing students excelling in leadership, academics,听innovation, community service, and talent. Awards and certificates听were presented to the honorees.
The Chief Guest, though unavailable, shared his message through a听written speech read by the MEDSAM Chairperson. The event concluded听with cake cutting, closing remarks, and networking over lunch. It set听a strong tone for a new era of holistic, student-centered leadership.
