Kilimanjaro Blind Trust Africa paid a courtesy call to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Partnerships Research and Innovation (PRI), Prof. Regina Nyunja, at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ on 9th February 2026. The visit marked the commencement of a four-day Information and Communication Technology (ICT) training program for the visually impaired students. The courtesy call served as an introduction to the training, which is designed to equip the students with essential ICT skills to enhance their academic work and future career prospects. 
The program focuses on empowering visually impaired students through the use of assistive technologies. In support of the training, Kilimanjaro Blind Trust Africa has donated 13 computers and 12 Orbit Readers. These resources will significantly assist the students in taking notes, accessing digital content, and participating more effectively in their learning activities.
