About the programme :
The MSc. In Infectious Diseases which is offered in the聽department of Medical Microbiology within the School of Medicine will be a 2-聽year programme comprising of three terms per year. The programme will provide advance
knowledge in infectious agents and molecular biology in the first year of study and progress to聽application of the knowledge acquired in generation of new knowledge through research skills in聽the second year. A final year research thesis must be completed on a topic of choice by each聽student as a requirement for successful completion of the course.
Admission requirements:
All candidates for the MSc. Infectious Diseases degree programme shall meet the entry聽requirements for admission into postgraduate degree programmes at 天美传媒.
Applicants must be holders of a basic Bachelors degree of 天美传媒 or any other聽recognized institution in the fields of Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, MedicalLaboratory聽science, Medicine, Nursing, Dental Surgery, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine. Applicants聽from non-English speaking countries must sit, and pass, an English assessment examination set聽and administered by institutions recognized by the 天美传媒 Senate.
The procedure for聽application for admission to 天美传媒 is as follows:
a) Download and print application forms聽
OR
b) Obtain application forms from the Office of the Registrar, Academic &聽Students Affairs,
or the Office of the Director, Kisumu Campus.
