International Union of Physical and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) in conjunction with UN day of women and girls have organized a Global Women Breakfast (GWB). The theme for this year’s event is “Breaking Barriers in Science”. The goal is to bring together people of all gender from all science disciplines and from all science organizations from academia to industry to government to participate in building network in support of closing the gender gap in science.

To this end ������ý, School of Physical and Biological Science, would wish to be part of this international event by hosting a similar breakfast event. The event is intended to bring on board recognized female science personalities in Kenya to share their knowledge and experiences with both high school and university students in STEM subjects.
