Prof. Erick Otieno Nyambedha is a distinguished Kenyan academic, researcher and University Administrator currently serving as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½. A Professor of Anthropology he has extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. His scholarly work focuses on social protection, public health, and the impact of HIV/AIDS on vulnerable populations, with numerous publications and collaborations with international organizations such as UNICEF, WHO and USAID. Widely regarded for his strong institutional knowledge and leadership, he was appointed Acting Vice-Chancellor in 2026 to steer the university in advancing its academic and research agenda.
