This day provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to聽increase the knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families. It is in聽line with this objective of enhancing knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the family and its聽place in individual dignity and self-fulfilment as well as societal well-being and socio-economic progress聽that 天美传媒 is hosting the Inaugural Inter-Universities Debate Competition on the Family.聽
The Debate is an opportunity for young people in society to explore and interrogate the concept of the聽family and its place in human wellbeing, socio-cultural belonging and societal socio-economic聽progression based on current socio-economic and cultural realities of a globalised world. This event is聽intended to be an intellectually stimulating and enriching experience for participants and the audience聽alike, and also provides an opportunity for networking and collaboration for the young people.
It intends聽to celebrate the essence of family while fostering healthy competition and intellectual discourse among聽the young people in our Kenyan Universities. It will be a platform for participants to showcase their聽intellectual prowess, critical thinking abilities, and advocacy skills on a national stage.
